The intimate presence of JRS personnel enables them to speak with authority and credibility to advocate their cause to government and non-government organizations and other related agencies. They share their own stories of how in the lives of refugees and displaced people one can glimpse, and sometimes touch, sacredness and at the same time the woundedness of our humanity.
